Clarification of Tuesday and Sunday workouts

We’ve had a few questions on how the Tuesday and Sunday workouts will meet. So I wanted to provide some clarification.

Each Sunday night we will post the three Endurance workouts for the week. All three workouts are in addition to your base of 3-5 Crossfit workouts. So in general, if you cannot fit in both CFE and CF one day OR, you are in position where you have to choose between the two – choose Crossfit.

The endurance workouts are programmed to generally peak in time for an early October half-marathon/marathon. Hint hint: the Chicago Marathon is October 7th and the Prairie State Marathon and Half is October 6th.

So you will see Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday workouts. Endurance will meet for official class times at 7:00p.m on Thursdays and 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays (Endurance Circuit). Those are the only two officially set time on the CFD schedule.

Tuesdays and Sundays are “On Your Own,” which means you should complete the workouts wherever and whenever you wish. You don’t have to complete them specifically on Tuesdays and or Sundays. You should use your best judgment based on what makes sense for your schedule.

From time to time, we will post an alert to the Endurance @ CFD homepage for an impromptu workout to complete the Tuesdays and Sunday WODs. If you can make those, great! If not, don’t worry about it and try to get them done at your own convenience.
