Weekly WODs: August 13-19, 2012

August 12, 2012

Tuesday:

4 rounds
1200 meter run, rest 30 seconds
400 meter sprint, rest 3-4 min

If you are doing the full-marathon in October do the entire 4 rounds. If you are doing any other distance, do three rounds

Endurance will meet Tuesday at the Belmont Waterfront location at 7:00 p.m.  All are welcome! Weather looks like low 70’s!

 

Thursday:

Ready. Set… Hoozah!

20 min EMOTM (every minute on the minute)

100 meters

– If you take longer than a minute, rest and go at the top of the following minute

– Your score is the number of rounds completed in 20 minutes

We will meet Thursday at the Belmont Waterfront location at 7:00 p.m. Since, we’ll be running 100 meter repeats I promise you will not be running out-and-backs. They will all be straight shots.

Sunday:

90 min AFAP

Level training:
Long: 90 min AFAP
Mid: 60 min AFAP
Short 35 min AFAP

    33:48. Rested 2 minutes for the first 2 breaks and 3 minutes for the last. Was absolutely spent at the end. Awesome WOD.

    Injured Guy = Rower WOD!

    3 rounds:
    -1500m row
    -30s rest
    -500m row
    -2 min rest

    Total Time = 28:40, roughly 6100m total distance

    Must’ve remembered WOD wrong as I only rested 2 minutes. That extra 1-2 minutes would have really helped! Oh well. Still a real burner overall!

    Planned to go out for 75 minutes, felt good, ended up running for 90 minutes. 8:51 average pace. Almost the exact same pace as my 50 minute run a few weeks ago; I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. Fastest times were miles 1,9,10 then 2. Need to pick up the pace in the middle (or not stop for water 3 times).
