Thursday – August 28, 2012 – Endurance will meet Thursday at the Belmont Lakepath location at 7:00 p.m. Workout will be scaled for anyone new to endurance.

4 x 800 meter, 1 min rest between 800’sRest 4 min then…

2 x 1 mile, 3 min rest between miles

Record total time for each segment. Each segment is two miles in length and contains the same total rest built into the interval. Looking for the total time for the miles to be faster than the 800s.


Endurance will meet Thursday at the Belmont Waterfront location at 7:00 p.m.

A. “Death by 10 meters”
Every Minute on the Minute Until Failure
10 M RUNIncrease one 10 m run every minute until failure. For example, the first minute is 1 x 10m sprint, the second minute is 2 x 10m sprint, the third is 3x 10m sprint and so on until you cant complete x number of sprints in 1 minute.

B. 7 x 100 meter Buddy races

Buddies are selected based on results of the death by 10 meters. These won’t be timed, its just you and your buddy fighting it out for glory. Rest will be the amount of time it takes to jog back to the starting line. The buddy with the best score out of seven races, wins!


105 min AFAP

Long: 105 min AFAP
Mid: 75 min AFAP
Short: 50 min AFAP

    800’s – 15:05 w the 60s rest included
    1 miles – 15:55 w the 3 min rest included
    I totally fell apart on the second mile. Ran my first mile @5:57 and crashed and burned on the second. Lesson learned.

    Tuesday (on Saturday):
    800’s: 16:32
    Miles: 16:37

    Apparently the flight/jet lag really hurt me. Oof.
