Weekly WODs: June 23-29, 2014

Tuesday:

Endurance will meet Tuesday at the Belmont Waterfront location at 7:00 p.m. weather permitting. Check in on Facebook for weather related updates. All workouts will be scaled for anyone new to endurance.
Triple Races:
3 x 400 meter (90 sec rest)
5 x 200 meter (60 sec rest)
7 x 100 meter (walk back rest)

You know the drill. The winner of each heat will move up a heat, while the loser of each heat will fall back a heat.

Thursday:

Endurance will meet Thursday at the Belmont Waterfront location at 7:00 p.m. weather permitting. Check in on Facebook for weather related updates. All workouts will be scaled for anyone new to endurance.

This workout will be scaled for all levels.
10000 Meter Partner Challenge

Working in teams of two, each team must accumulate 10,000 meters by running any number of the following distances: 800, 400 and 200. Only one partner can work at a time. Each distance must be run by each partner at least twice, except the 200, which must be run 4 times by each partner. Fastest team to complete 10000 meters wins!

Sunday:

MARATHON TRAINING WEEK 1 “On your own”:
Level I (Marathon)
10k Time Trial

Level II (10miler/Half Marathon)
8k Time Trial

Level III (10k/5k)
5k Time Trial

NOTE: There will also be a Simulated Long Run at CrossFit Defined Lincoln Square at 8 a.m.

*What is the Sunday Simulated Long Run?

The Simulated Long Run workouts are just that – they are designed to simulate a “long run” and work specific body parts by incorporating running with specific movements chosen to replicate the typical physical and mental breakdown that occurs during a 7 to 10 mile long run.
